SMART is a system that's been devised for years and years when we try and write an articulate clearly defined goal. SMART is a message that we need, a message to send ourselves to make our goals work.
𝗦 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰.🔍
What exactly do you want to accomplish? What do you want to do this for? What do you want to do? What kind of tangible? The more specific the more detailed you can make that the more concrete, the better.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲.📏📐
If you can't measure it, you can't change it. Assessments get used all the time to figure out where we are and how much we need to improve. How do we evaluate whether the goal has been met? What quantitative measures can we put here?
𝗔 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. 🏅
That's the way I want to have goals that I can reach. Those goals are: challenging, being an adventure, stretching my ability, and being action-oriented. That's what achievement is about.

How is this going to make your life different? How is this going to improve things? Why does it count? Is it aligned with your mission in life?
𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐬𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲'𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞-𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝.⌛
They have target dates. They have a schedule. They have an agenda. Now it's worth the time to take your goals your objectives your plan for the day and create a set of SMART objectives for every day. Set it for the day, for the week, for the month, or even for the year and you'll find out you achieve more and more and you develop more personal satisfaction.
