But is time alone really enough?

Becoming excellent at Java, chess, surgery or football requires very different abilities, environments and learning methods.
4️⃣ Expertise never truly ends 🔄
You may reach an advanced level, but technologies, practices and knowledge keep evolving. Experts must remain learners.
As Kent Beck, creator of JUnit and Extreme Programming, famously said:
“I’m not a great programmer; I’m just a good programmer with great habits.”
Perhaps expertise is not simply about counting hours.
It may be about how you use those hours.
