Tuckman's theory focuses on the way in which a team tackles a task in different stages: Forming - Storming - Norming - Performing.
After the forming stage, team members are now feeling more secure about their individual roles and it is clear what the group’s aims are.
But they want to show their individual value.
Feeling restricted by the boundaries of the team, they want to do things their way which gives ground for conflict.
(Conflict being the storming)
