SCRUM THEORY: What is a Sprint goal and what is its significance? 🎯

· scrum,team

The Sprint Goal is an objective set for the Sprint that can be met through the implementation of Product Backlog.

It is important because not only does it provide guidance 🦮 to the development team on why it is building the increment,

but it also answers the questions related to the value generated by the Sprint and if the sprint is successful.

A good Sprint goal shows SMART characteristics: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely.
