This week I’ve been at AI Native Dev Conference and one thing is clear:
more and more of our code is written with AI at our side. 👀💻
I’m curious about your day-to-day experience:
- ChatGPT 🤖💬 – Your main coding copilot? Maybe you use it for refactors, tests, and quick “how do I…?” questions while staying in the flow.
- Gemini 🌌✨ – Embedded into Google’s ecosystem, good for folks living in Gmail, Docs, and Cloud who want AI close to their infra and data.
- Claude 🧠🤝 – Often praised for long-form reasoning, reading big codebases, and helping with design discussions and architecture docs.
- It depends 🤷. – You mix tools: one for code, one for docs, another for brainstorming. Or you switch depending on project, team, or client constraints.
🧩 I’m especially interested in how you combine these tools in real workflows:
– Pair programming?
– Refactoring and tests?
– Documentation and design?
“Truth can only be found in one place: the code.” – Robert C. Martin, Clean Code
With AI helping us write more code faster, this quote hits even harder: we are still responsible for the final quality.
